The knife cuts the homemade bread perfectly. The previous knife was mangling the loaf. I bought the knife on recommendations from Cook's Illustrated. It was a great recommendation. Great value for the money.

I'm very happy with this bread knife. Light weight, easy to handle, and cuts bread very effectively, as well as being great with bagels.
