I haven't had the chance to try any of the recipes out of Paula's cookbook yet, but I can't wait to try some. There are alot of recipes in it that I think would be very good. I love the tips and stories that are in it also.

It would of been better if the book was signed. She says she can't wait to try some of the receipts. It wasn't the type of receipts I thought would be in it so I'm glad it was Tracy's type. But all in all a good book.

They both love the cookbook and Paula Deen and so do I. Will probably be ordering again soon. I did order them both the foodnetwork magazine as a gift, haven't received them yet. I loved the stories she provides about her childhood as well as the family photos. The title "Family Cookbook" sums it up as you will find recipes from the entire clan. I loved the variety of foods throughout and will definitely recommend this to others. Thanks, Paula, for another fabulous cookbook!

Since I bought it as a gift - my brain translated "signed bookplate" as "original signature." Not so. I'm sure that the recipient will enjoy it anyway.

Young people have no idea how to make do with what they have in the cupboard. I have a hard time cooking for 2- it was always like a zoo around here, and you never knew how many people would be here to eat. I Think this cookbook covers alot of those questions for old cooks but maybe not the young ones. Thanks
