Enjoyed her first book and am enjoying her second. What I like best is the step by step photos she includes. You know you are making it correctly this way - what does diced look like, what does julienned look like, etc. Most cookbooks have so many recipes, you wouldn't make half of them in your lifetime but with hers, you get fewer recipes but I made a large number from her first book and will probably do so with this one. Well worth the purchase esp for new cooks.

In addition, there are pictures with every recipe, including pictures of each step of the recipe. I will use most of the recipes. I will also purchase other cookbooks of the Pioneer Woman.

The only reason I was not perfectly satisfied with the book is that it was missing a recipe that I saw on her program. Other than that I am very happy with the book!

The recipes are easy and tasty. Her beautiful photos of nature and family make all of us feel like we are there. I appreciate it even more after being such a big fan of her cook show on the Food Network as well. Keep up all the good works!
