Why use a big oven when the Breville cooks just as well. We bake cakes, potatoes and anything we would in a big oven. It preheats in minutes and saves energy because of its compact and "just right" size.

Best toaster oven investment

The Breville Smart Oven replaced my Cuisinart oven that shorted out. I did a lot of research before spending this much on a 'toaster' oven. I've had the unit 1 month and have found the accolades to be true (Cooks Illustrated). Perfect toast by adjusting the # slices and darkness no matter how thick the slice. Bagels are toasted to perfection with a lightly toasted crust and crunchier cut side. Frozen pizza crust cooked evenly with the toppings using convection. Convection roasted chicken with golden crispy skin and juicy meat. Best of all, I didn't have to heat my house up using a large oven. Can't wait to try cookies and casseroles. Great size when cooking for two. Control knobs are super easy and intuitive. I have several other Breville small appliances and the Smart Oven is proving to be just as high of quality. It costs a bit more than most but I'd rather spend more up front than keep replacing shoddy equipment.

Fast and easy to use.

I replaced a toaster oven with this Smart Oven. The toaster oven had stopped working, but the dials were always hard to read. I love this new Smart Oven! The dials light up when you turn it on, and it toasts and bakes beautifully. I will use it in the summer instead of heating up the whole house with my kitchen oven. It was easy to use right out of the box without reading the whole manual. It preheats very quickly and does not start timing the food until it is fully preheated.

Fantastic

My most favorite thing about this is the size. I can put a 12 tin cupcake pan inside. Great for making brunch quiches. The dials make it so easy to find the temperature you require and the function you need.. Just an absolutely great product. Of course, I have only used it for 2 weeks. Ask me in a year how I feel, will it still work?

Great product.

Makes great toast. Better than others that we had over the years. It comes with a round, good pizza pan and I think it will do well there. I like the selections for different items(sets temp. and time) and the separate buttons for convection and frozen.

This oven is awesome !! I toasted english muffins yesterday, they came out PERFECT !! I've used the bake option as well UNBELIEVABLE !! If you're looking for something to bake/roast/toast etc. this is your oven.
You won't be sorry....I call it my suzy bake oven....

The Smart Oven by Breville

When I saw the price, I thought you guys were nuts! But, when I saw the specs on this oven, it seemed that the designers and manufacturer must have put an exceptional amount of thought into this product. I wanted a special gift for my wife who LOVES to cook. So, I bought one.

So far, the oven has been everything claimed. In fact, we're spoiled by it now. We don't want even a bagel if it hasn't been toasted in our Breville Smart Oven! It really just can't be beat!!

Best "little" countertop oven, ever.

I was surprised at the weight of the product when we
unpacked it. It is a perfect size to sit on the countertop.
It toasts evenly and bakes pie crusts evenly.
The controls are very easy to use and it heats quickly.

I love this oven! It looks good on the counter and does a great job! I wish it would accomodate 9X13 pans but for the times I want to use that size (which isn't often), I have the big stove oven . I gave this purchase much thought because of the price but I do feel it will serve me well for a long time.

Great litte oven

This oven is perfect. I use it all the time. I have made cakes, cookies and casseroles in this oven. I love it. I would buy it again.

Best kitchen appliance I have ever made.

I live alone and this oven is perfect as it saves electricity, and time. I use it exclusively instead of regular oven that requires more time to heat up and consequently uses more electricity. If I had to have only one appliance in my kitchen this would be it.

Surprise!

I was surprised by how much this little oven works just like a large one. I ordered it because I didn't want to heat up a big oven for small jobs like making croutons, but it actually heats so evenly that I can bake in it.

Great looking, easy to clean and does a very nice job so far. Quick to heat and cooks evenly. I'm sure I will have more good things to say after more use, You definitely get what you pay for.....super!!

I really like this oven. So far everything I have fixed in it has turned out great. It is easy to use. I wish it was a little bigger so I could use standard 13x9 pans.

My Best Buy

I was going to buy a full size oven, then I saw an infomercial for one of those round countertop ovens. It got me thinking and I started looking for top of the line toaster ovens. Well as you know the smart oven is the Best, nothing but rave reviews. Saved me a ton of money and keeps saving me money because it preheats and cooks in less time than a new full size oven ever would AND it cooks family sized meals. My Best Buy.
