Breville Smart Oven

Bought this upon Consumer Reports recommendation. It is excellent in all respects, and has LOTS of interior space, more than enough to cook dinner for 2 people. Nice selection of included accessories, and the controls are wonderful.

This Breville Toaster Oven is AOK

I evaluate the price as somewhat high for the product. Not truly a good value. We avoid products made in China where we can. Here, we just couldn't avoid China. Counter top oven does not fit in traditional counter top "appliance garage". Unit uses 15 amps (1800 watts). Verify your 120VAC electric circuit (breaker) will handle the current draw if there are other parallel appliances on the circuit. However, the toaster oven functions very well in all categories. We award A+ in performance. We've done toast, warmed up a store frozen pizza, cooked a homemade pizza, baked store frozen lasagna, baked biscuits, and several other items. A good point is that this toaster oven uses less electricity than our large double oven and it makes toast too. It also generates less heat in our kitchen. That is very important here in Florida.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

I hesitated buying this because I really did not want another appliance on my countertop but boy am I ever glad I did. I've had this little dude for a month and I have YET to turn on my full oven. I'm only cooking for two now and I haven't run into anything (roasting, baking, toasting, reheating) yet that required a larger oven. I'm having a ball trying new things and I'm amazed how fast things go in the kitchen now. You will not regret this purchase.

Good switch

This oven was purchased to replace the toaster oven and microwave we were using. Wanted to part with both! Have used it just over a week. While there is a learning curve and adjustment in expectations from the micro, it seems to be doing the job well. Have found it cooks most of our food fine, even 2 small loaves of fresh bread. Am looking forward to using it this summer to avoid the heat from my regular oven. Could use an internal light though to see how the food is doing.

Would like to have better information than the book supplies. Like to see more recipes. It is an excellent product to have in your kitchen.

Best toaster oven

Very easy to use. Directions for first use help to familiarize yourself with operation...very handy! We are using the microwave less and this product more.

Best counter top toaster oven.

This has to be the best counter top toaster oven I have ever used. It's amazing, it's like a mini convection oven. We love it!

There is nothing this oven can't do. It's the most used appliance in my kitchen. I've roasted a chicken, baked cookies and so much more. Must have for any home.

Bit of an investment, but happy with product

So far we're very happy with the Smart Oven. Once we figured out the timer, we were good to go. (Above 10 minutes, only full minutes show; under 10 minutes, both minutes and seconds are displayed.) Even though the Breville is a bit larger than our old toaster oven, we've been so pleased with it that we have gotten rid of a regular toaster that we had in addition to a toaster oven, freeing up some much-needed counter space. The Breville is somewhat expensive, but I think it's a good investment. Also we only have one conventional wall oven, so I'm very much looking forward to having another oven when preparing larger, more complicated meals.

Best kitchen appliance I have ever made.

I live alone and this oven is perfect as it saves electricity, and time. I use it exclusively instead of regular oven that requires more time to heat up and consequently uses more electricity. If I had to have only one appliance in my kitchen this would be it.

simply the best

This oven is awesome !! I toasted english muffins yesterday, they came out PERFECT !! I've used the bake option as well UNBELIEVABLE !! If you're looking for something to bake/roast/toast etc. this is your oven.
You won't be sorry....I call it my suzy bake oven....

My Best Buy

I was going to buy a full size oven, then I saw an infomercial for one of those round countertop ovens. It got me thinking and I started looking for top of the line toaster ovens. Well as you know the smart oven is the Best, nothing but rave reviews. Saved me a ton of money and keeps saving me money because it preheats and cooks in less time than a new full size oven ever would AND it cooks family sized meals. My Best Buy.

Fast and easy to use.

I replaced a toaster oven with this Smart Oven. The toaster oven had stopped working, but the dials were always hard to read. I love this new Smart Oven! The dials light up when you turn it on, and it toasts and bakes beautifully. I will use it in the summer instead of heating up the whole house with my kitchen oven. It was easy to use right out of the box without reading the whole manual. It preheats very quickly and does not start timing the food until it is fully preheated.

Great product.

Makes great toast. Better than others that we had over the years. It comes with a round, good pizza pan and I think it will do well there. I like the selections for different items(sets temp. and time) and the separate buttons for convection and frozen.

Fantastic

My most favorite thing about this is the size. I can put a 12 tin cupcake pan inside. Great for making brunch quiches. The dials make it so easy to find the temperature you require and the function you need.. Just an absolutely great product. Of course, I have only used it for 2 weeks. Ask me in a year how I feel, will it still work?

The Smart Oven by Breville

When I saw the price, I thought you guys were nuts! But, when I saw the specs on this oven, it seemed that the designers and manufacturer must have put an exceptional amount of thought into this product. I wanted a special gift for my wife who LOVES to cook. So, I bought one.

So far, the oven has been everything claimed. In fact, we're spoiled by it now. We don't want even a bagel if it hasn't been toasted in our Breville Smart Oven! It really just can't be beat!!
