Not What I Expected

I think that the book has great recipes; however, I am Diabetic. I feel that the book is misleading because there is still a lot of sugar and carbs in the receipes and they are not really something that someone with Diabetes would use.

WHAT A WONDERFUL RECIPE BOOK FOR ME AND HUBBY WHO HAVE DIABETES TYPE 2. FOOD TASTES NO DIFFERENT THAN WHEN WE USED REAL GRANULATED SUGAR IN RECIPES. MY HUSBAND AND FAMILY TRULY ENJOY THIS COOKBOOK. SOME FAMILY MEMBERS THINK I STILL USE GRANULATED SUGAR. THIS COOKBOOK HELPS ME AND HUBBY KEEP OUR BLOOD-SUGAR AT A GOOD LEVEL.

This book, by the makers of Splenda, is mostly an advertising gimmick - full of arty pictures and frou-frou desserts. The book "Baking with Splenda", also sold by cooking.com, is much more useful.
