  • A REMINDER OF DAYS GONE BY

I remember using an item similar to this back in the 40's. My older cousin was visiting from San Antonio and brought one with her and we all gathered in the kitchen as home made pot pies and desert were prepared.

    I recommend this product.

  • I remember we had one of these when I was a kid. My mother made sweet and savory sandwiches with it and they were great. Over the years it disappeared. I hadn't thought about it until I saw this on your website and knew I had to have it. I've made several sandwiches with it and they are as good as I remember them. Thanks for bringing back and old favorite.

  • What A Disappointment!

I was disappointed and returned the Toas-Tite. We had one growing up and my brother and I would both like to have it. I thought I would buy this one and that would eliminate having to share custody of the original. Talk about disappointed! Neither the material nor the fit and finish match the original. And it didn't help that this item looked used and arrived covered with scratches in a torn box. Maybe if you had never seen the original you would be pleased with this replica. Otherwise, pass on it.

  • Toas-Tite takes me back!

The Toas-Tite sandwich maker truly takes me back to my childhood. My grandmother had one and all of her grandchildren loved the little round "Toasted Cheese sandwiches" she made. Now with my own kids, being able to share that part of my past has been priceless. My kids love the sandwiches and now are begging to get another two Toas-Tite makers so they can make more than one at a time!

    I recommend this product.
