It's a fun way to cook
I remember useing an item like this when I was a child. We do lots of family get togethers with lots of children. I cant't wait until they can make up what they want and try it. It cooks pretty fast so if I'm organized it should go fast enough.

Yes | No Report Violation »Before using the Toas- Tite, I followed all the instructions in the accompanying literature, like seasoning it before the first use, buttering my bread on the outside surface, but inspite of that, the bread stuck to the Toas- Tite and was very hard to remove. I had to soak it before I could wash it. This is a very pricey product that did not deliver. I am sending it back.

Unfortunately, the item I received was defective. The top half split into two pieces when it was washed. Hopefully, the replacement will be perfect and only divide at the handles.

Making Toast-Tite pies is both fast and fun. When we were kids making toast pie on the camp fire was a treat. Now you can use all those little bit left-overs to make tasty toast pie meals fast and economically. Use it make make your on the go breakfast, it is my daily go-to kitchen tool.

I have used this at least once everyday since I received it. My whole family loves it! I often find it sitting on the stove (not where I left it) when I awake in the morning. This means the kids were using it for their late night snacks. It really is a great product, and would highly recommend it to everyone!

My mother made sweet and savory sandwiches with it and they were great. Over the years it disappeared. I hadn't thought about it until I saw this on your website and knew I had to have it. I've made several sandwiches with it and they are as good as I remember them. Thanks for bringing back and old favorite.

As a small child, my husband's aunt always made him toasted cheese sandwiches with her toas-tite maker (her's was from the 1950's era). For years, (we have been married 38 years) he has raved about her toasted cheese sandwiches made with her toas-tite maker. I have an electric pannini maker as well as a George Forman grill. I have made him toasted cheese sandwiches. He loves them, but he had always said that it just wasn't the same as with the toas-tite. As soon as I saw your toas-tite maker, I ordered one. I have to admit that he was right. The toas tite maker automatically cuts the crusts off and seals the sandwich. I am very happy that I ordered the toas-tite.

Growing up with Tias-tites, I was happy to discover this is still around. The only difference is it is not as heavy. It still does a wonderful job on sandwiches and the best part is there are no crusts.

A tuna salad Toas-Tite was my favorite sandwich throughout the entire 1950's I inherited my Mother's, yet through many years in storage, when I received it, it couldn't be used. So when I saw it at Cooking.com, I jumped at a chance to again have my favorite sandwich...Now, I have to find a good gluten-free bread recipe! But, at least, until I do, I can introduce my friends to the delight of a Toas-Tite sandwich with any filling! Thank you for the memory!

I remember using an item similar to this back in the 40's. My older cousin was visiting from San Antonio and brought one with her and we all gathered in the kitchen as home made pot pies and desert were prepared.
