OK for toast and easy to grasp objects, per their name, I guess - just not what I need. I'm still on the hunt for tongs with thinner ends for more delicate "grabbing".

Very good but it is tough to close tight. Have to grab toast, etc real close to hot toaster.

My previous tongs had a magnet which made them user friendly, by always being attached to the toaster. Unfortunately, the ones purchased recently do not come with a magnet and have been misplaced on several occasions.

Eliminates burnt fingers, easy to use and recommend to friends. Lots of other uses have already surfaced. It easy completes task.
