This grill is perfect for cooking a couple rare steaks. It gets hot enough to sear the surface of the steak very quickly and seals in the juices.

For the price you cannot beat it.

I still use charcoal for most meats, but this is my new standard for cooking steaks.

Sear like the pros, turn down and finish with low heat.
Convenient, fairly light weight, a bitch to clean but what grille isn't! Leave on hi and close the lid for ten minutes and most of cleaniing is complete. Every so often, clean drawer, wipe down insides- voila.

My son is a pro, he uses this at home.
