It has a nonstick surface, so it easily releases dough (no flour needed) and anti-bacterial construction. Measurement equivalents are printed right on the mat. When your work is done, simply roll it up, slip it back into its storage tube (included) and put it away.

I am extremely pleased with the performance of this product. I have used other sheets/mats before and felt like I was fighting the product. This mat makes rolling out any type of pastry a joy and because you use only little to no flour on the mat the pastry doesn't get overloaded and dry. That means the last of the cutout cookies turn out just as good as the first. And, I can't begin to tell you how great the pie crust turned out. Clean up is a breeze! LOVE IT!

i had to use flour because my pastry stuck to the mat i was not a happy camper. i may just get a board. i have granite counter tops and was told not to use them for pies or cookies as they might change the taste.

I love that it sticks to my counter so that it doesn't move around while I roll out dough, Just what I was looking for in a pastry mat. Also the price was the best I had seen. All in all a great product.
