Not for all knives

This knife appears to be meant for the real thin knives as it does not seem to do much for ones with thicker blades.

This is the best knife sharpener I have found that is reasonable price and low tech. Also works for left handed cooks.

If this hadn't worked, I would have considered electric ones.

Of course, time will tell how long this device will last. But it is small, inexpensive, easy to use, easy to store, and sure sharpened my knives and scissors perfectly. Don't spend tons of cash! This does the trick.

Nice for the price.

Bought a well rated Smith brand knife sharpener. I was much less than impressed. It wouldn't touch my dull knives. This sharpener whipped my knives into shape quickly. For the price, I have nothing but good things to say about this sharpener. Would highly recommend this product.

Sturdy, stable, and works. Gives a consistent angle. Looks good too.

don't bother

This was a complete waste of money! I tried it on several of our knives and it did NOTHING! It will cost me to return it, so I might as well toss it! What a disappointment!

Will keep sharp knives pretty sharp. Does not work well for very dull knives.

Finally One that Works

This is the best and easiest knife sharpener I have ever used. I have bought complicated , multi-step systems in the past that cannot match it's results.

Good ergonomically, fair on sharpening

I used this the day it was delivered. After reading the directions, I set out to put a good edge on all my knives. I'd worn my old sharpener out so it had been a while since they'd been attended to. It didn't deliver as described, but after using more pressure than directed and a honing steel, my knives were in decent shape. I did think the design, with ample hand room, non-skid bottom and lefty/righty ability was very good.

This knife sharpener is excellent, and a great deal too. It takes about ten seconds to get a knife from being pretty blunt to a high degree of sharpness. Amazing value. I'm probably going to buy another, just in case I lose this one.
