non stick searing

Calphalon nonstick Unison is excellent. This is my 3rd piece of unison and I am not disappointed. This product makes great sear marks on steaks, sandwiches, etc. Easy to clean up afterward too and since it is aluminum, minimal heat. Best of all- made in the USA.

Inside grilling

I have only used once, on a steak, and I need more practice. I did not want to remove lid and could not tell when it was ready. Need to turn food as bottom gets more done do to most heat. Takes practice. Perfect for grilled cheese or sandwiches. Very important to have really good vent -a- hood. It can get very smokey in the kitchen quickly.
