My daughter has the 2-waffle version of this Belgian Waffle Maker. It makes
terrific waffles, but the capacity of 2 waffles at a time makes it difficult to feed
a large breakfast crowd in a short time, so I purchased the larger waffle iron.
In 4 minutes, I have 4 waffles and in less than 15 minutes, I have enough
tasty waffles to satisfy everyone at the breakfast table! The iron browns both
sides of the waffles beautifully - dark golden crust on the outside, tender and
moist on the inside - and the 1-inch depth insures plenty of pockets to hold
butter and maple syrup. I will admit that the first batch stuck to the bottom of the iron, but a quick spritz with cooking oil solved that issue. I've used this iron so often that it is now well-seasoned and waffles no longer stick. It heats rapidly,
cooks evenly and the upright storage feature makes it a perfect fit in my cabinet.
I purchased this waffle iron because we love waffles. My old iron lasted 15 years but only made a single waffle. I was forever getting food to the table.
This iron makes four delicious serving at a time. I love it. The waffles are crisp and tender. Easy to clean. I often add fruit to the batter and use yogurt as a sauce. Compliments from all ages. Extra waffles are great re-heated in the toaster. I highly recommend this machine.
This is the best Waffle maker we have ever used. It is easy to use and clean. According to my kids, the waffles made from this new maker are more tasty than those from our old one.

I've had the frozen kind, and was never very impressed. My wife loves home-made Belgian waffles, and I like to please her, so I searched for a waffle maker that I thoiught I could trust. The KRUPS waffle maker had the combination of price, features, simplicity, and reputation I was looking for, so I took a chance on it.
It took a little practice to make a good waffle with this unit - the included instruction/recipe book is nice, but it doesn't give you any idea of how much to put into the plates before you close it up. We went back and forth between a little dollap in the center to WAY overfilling the plate before we finally figured it out. Once I got that far, it cooked the waffles very evenly no matter how much I under-or-over filled, so we never had the problem of raw middle and burned exterior - everything was evenly cooked throughout.
I really like the vertical storage. Great space-saver. Overall, this waffle maker really lives up to the KRUPS reputation. I'd recommend this unit any time.
I think the waffle Iron is great the only down fall is that it does not have removable plates, therefore making cleaning a bit challanging. Otherwise I have no problem. Oh except that the handle gets very hot so when your cooking you have to open and close the lid by using the lock latch.
