Really enjoy my new Baby Q. I'm not sure if I like the "Baby" in the name, because it cooks like a pro!

PRO's: Easy to put together, leaves great grill marks, and small and lightweight.

CON: I do wish it had a non-stick surface. Had some chicken get stuck to it the other night. Next time I'll use some cooking oil or spray before I throw on the chicken.

Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed. My eating habits are getting a lot better thanks to my new Baby Q!

Great for a Condo

by Lori, CA

We have a small balcony in our downtown condo and cant have a very large grill. This one fits perfectly and is very convenient. It takes those small propane tanks which is great, because they dont take up too much space. It cooks pretty hot. Hotter than I expected. The first time I used it, I burnt the chicken pretty good. Clean up is a piece of cake and it's convenient to have the grill grate come out so you can wash it in the sink. I love it!

This is the third Baby Webber I have purchased from Cooking.com. Last year I gave two as wedding gifts, and this year I finally bought one for me. It replaces our our old gas grill we have had for over 25 years. What a difference! We love it. So easy.

The grill is small enough for my patio. Takes no time to warm and easy enough to replace gas.

I just love this little bbq grill. Very good sized for two people who don't have use for a larger grill. Cooks fast and evenly and can be put away within two hours of use.
Clean up is easier than the larger grills also. Just love this little baby. The only problem we encountered was finding the smaller propane bottles to fit the bottle holder, but after having conversed with Weber, they can be found in plumbing dept of any hardware store.

Great Grill ! Took it to the marina and set it on the dock box and cooked 4 steaks. The grill was so easy to set up, start and it cooked evenly. It also did not heat up underneath so it is safe to set up anywhere. This was the best Father's Day gift.

But it -- you'll love it!

I bought the Baby Q to use on my kitchen-level deck, for handy grilling whenever the mood would strike, and I absolutely LOVE this grill. It is convenient enough for cooking a chicken breast or two, but large enough to accommodate four large steaks. I find the cast-iron cooking surface easy to clean, using a wire grill brush and my garden hose sprayer. This grill would be terrific for picnics or tailgating, but since I use it only at home, I also bought the rolling stand -- it holds the grill at the perfect cooking height and makes it a breeze to roll around on my deck. If mine blew away in a tornado, I'd be ordering another one tomorrow. I simply love it.

a nice little grill for small houses/apts, &c

Well made, just what one expects from Weber. The hose kit that you need for a 20# tank I thought was a little pricey (almost $40 from Weber on their website), but the little grill does a very nice job on all sorts of things. As advertised on the Food Network page, the grill is very easy to clean and is recommended as very good overall.

I was looking for a grill to take on vacation. It's relatively light weight...and compact and best of all...it cooks like a true Weber. I cooked burgers, steaks, hot dogs, sausages and salmon for ten people...nice size cooking surface. Even heat...easy to clean...nice cast grate..VERY pleased. I highly recommend. If you usually cook for 3 or four people...why buy a big unit? When my Dad saw this he asked me to get him one. He hates using his big grill as he is elderly and this unit can easily be used on his small balcony/porch. One more thing...I was set up on a plastic table...NO HEAT UNDER THE UNIT WHEN IN USE! I used the grill for four meals in a week and still had gas available. Gas canisters are available at any hardware store. Can you tell I like this product?

The grill is wonderful... it cooks just as well as a full-sized grill. The only warning I have is that, when you first start it up, you might not see the flames... but they are there! Just hold your hand several inches above the grill surface to see if you feel the heat. Really a great grill- easy to clean, easy to change the drip pan... I recommend the stand and cover.

Easy to setup, easy to use and cooks evenly. This is an outstanding grill to take camping.

The Baby Q was also very easy to clean-up. The solid iron grill was made for easy cleaning and the drip pan could easily be removed for cleaning.

Minor issue: It only takes long narrow LP tanks (14.1). Would be nice if you could use the short stubby tanks. Easier to find in stores and little lower costs.

Baby Q Grill

by Mary, IN
July 9, 2007

I purchased the Baby Q after using a charcoal grill for several years and I was becoming tired of the time and mess. I am impressed with how easy it is to set up and use. Meat cooks evenly and always comes out moist and juicy. By the time my old charcoal grill would have been ready to cook on, we are finished eating and cleaned up!

Awesome Grill for RV

by Jessica, TX
July 2, 2007

We needed a small gas grill to go along with our charcoal one and most of what I saw locally were big clunky things suitable for cooking for many. For just the two of us, the Baby Q seemed like the best choice, small, light, portable and able to fit in the basement of our RV. And its been just ideal. It heats up quickly and evenly, thanks to the great quality heavy iron grate and keeps food moist while giving a great grilled appearance and taste! Best grill I have even used! Highly recommended.
