It is a wonderful item. Standing on the table it looks great, people notice, it can be fancy or casual, goes with any setting and enhances the table. Size is exactly what i wanted, OK as a fruit bowl or serving dish, it looks impressive filled with pasta dish. Almost perfect, but is not. Base that is attached on the bottom is not done so completely. It holds it well together, does not even move, however it is glued in three places and shows open spaces in between, enough for water to get in when washing, hence, just when you thought it was dry it will leak the water. It does not show until you pick it up and look underneath. For me, not enough to return it but enough to be little disappointed. Would expect better for the price.
