Food preparation is simple when you have the Cuisinart® 11-c. Pro Custom 11™ Classic Food Processor in your kitchen. The 11-cup work bowl is shatterproof for long-lasting durability, and it resists heat and cold, so you can toss ingredients into it directly from the fridge, freezer, oven or stovetop. The unit comes with two stainless steel slicing disks, in 2-millimeter and 4-millimeter sizes, as well as a 4-millimeter shredding disk, a chopping blade and a dough blade. Choose from two different speeds using the convenient controls on the front to get just the right level of fineness when you chop. In addition to chopping, dicing, pureeing and slicing, this food processor can also knead 3 pounds of bread dough in just a few minutes. Slip whole fruits and vegetables into the food processor using the extra-large feed tube, or use the smaller feed tube to drop in smaller ingredients. You can also use the compact flat cover's small hole to drop ingredients directly into the processor without using a feed tube. When you're done, a handy spatula lets you scrape chopped foods out of the bowl without getting your hands near the blade. Plus, the work bowl is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. The Pro Custom 11 food processor comes with an instructional video to get you started right away.

  • The safety device for the feed tube makes it very cumbersome to use. You have to cut things (such as a potato you want to slice) into such small pieces to fit in the large opening so it will lock that you can manually cut things faster. I would have sent it back if it had not been a gift. My older model was much more user-friendly.

  • I have owned 3 other food processors and this is the best one I have ever had. I do not chop onions any more, grate cheese, slice celery or carrots. I even chop chili pepers perfectly. You control how fine something is chopped by how long it processes. The cheese comes out fluffy instead of sticky. The blades are extremely sharp. I dropped it and had to have 2 stitches in my leg, so be very very careful with them.

  • Great processor

My mother has had this exact processor for over 20 years and it has been flawless. I bought a cheaper one and it died. And for the $200 this one cost me, do the math for that over 20 years...

  • CuisineArt products

I am replacing my existing Pro Custom 11 Food Processor which I have had for at least 25 yrs., NOT because it was worn out, but because the processor was lost in a move. All the accessories arrived, including about 10 extra discs and their holders and the stem and processing blades, but the machine and work bowl somehow never arrived. It is a credit to the CuisineArt company that I got 25+ yrs. and counting of fine service from the old one, and could replace the exact model so my accessories don't go to waste. These are the only food processors I have ever used with the motor power and quality parts to do just about anything, while other processors have motors that slow down and smell of burning with hard cheeses or thick doughs. I have purchased other CuisineArt products because this machine gave me confidence in their exceptional quality.

  • Food Processor for Christmas

I bought this food process to assist my christmas cooking/baking. I had purchased a food processor a couple of years ago and it seemed to be a littlw short on power, and hust not quite chop all the items I needed the same. I have used this unit through the holiday season. Wow what a time saver. I made all my normal Christmas items and even tried new ones since my normal ones came out so well. I am well pleased with purchase.

I am very pleased with this food processor, the instructions, both written and on the DVD are explicit, and easily understood. The correct 'hardness' of such things as cheese,is well explained,so nobody should be concerned with damaging their food prcessor.Overall I find the unit to be easy to use and well worth the money I spent .

Cuisanart still makes the best food processors, my old one lasted 27 years with occasional bowl replacements. It is slightly smaller than the one that it replaced so the blades are not interchangable. The second flat lid is very convenient and should extend the life of the

  • I bought this as a present for my friends' wedding - they are thrilled with it and have already used it daily. I have a much older version of the Cuisinart, and will not hesitate to upgrade to this whizzier and larger version as soon as I need to (if ever - I've used the one I have about to death for at least eight years and it still works fine!).

  • Essential Kitchen Tool

The White Pro Custom 11 Food Processor was purchased to replace my nearly thirty year old DCL-8 Cuisinart Food Processor that had given me great service and was only replaced because the worn out parts were more than 50% of the replacement cost. I wanted the same size model because over the years I had purchased peripheral blades that are perfectly use able. I use the machine three or more times a week and find that I was lost without it. I am pleased with the new machine it appears to be a work horse like the original. The bakers top is very useful and when I make muffins and other pastries I find it convenient.

This food processor has made my work in the kitchen easier. It shreddes slices, chops, does it quickly and easily. Easy to clean and goes back together quickly and easily. The motor isnt sluggish when you chop, shreds,or slices. The food is sliced, shredded and chopped quickly.
I havent made bread with it yet,but I cant imagine it wouldnt do it quickly. I recommend this machine. I enjoy using it and would buy another if this one ever breaks down. LOL I bet it will out last me.

The food processor is very good and much nicer than the old one I had from many years ago, also Cuisinart. I may have been able to get it cheaper and not have paid postage and handling somewhere else. I have learned a lesson to do more homework before ordering online.
