This new 14 gallon white color Touchless Trashcan SX model uses the latest sensor technology and patented space saving lid opening design. As your hand or debris enter the zone 6 inches from the infrared sensor on top of the trash can, the lid will automatically slide open. No up or down lid motion means more capacity in less space. The lid will remain open if debris or hand is within the 6 inch range of the infrared sensor. 3 seconds after your hand moves away from the lid it closes automatically. At top front of the lid there are open and close buttons for manual operation, and there is a on/off power switch on the back of the trash can. This 3rd generation automatic trash can is the only trash can with the automatic space saving design. Fits any regular 13 or 18 gallon trash bag. Comes with bag retainer ring to secure and hide the trash bag inside the trash can. Optional AC power adaptor is available.

I was replacing my old iTouchless trash can that had a lid that opened upward. My hand caught on it and after that it would not open on its own. I loved this trash can, though and wanted to get a new one. I was really happy when I saw this one that was an accordian style lid. I wasted no time in ordering in. I am so happy with it! When my hands are messy from washing chicken, etc., I don't have to touch the trash can to throw away the skin or package. My kids (28 and 27 years old) both loved it, so I am going to buy them one also. I would definately buy this trash can again for my kitchen.

I love this trash can. Wish I would have known about it sooner. Best price I found and actually the least priced for this item. Have had no problems with it and really love hands free operation.
