Cups

My only disappointment (and it IS a significant disappointment) is that the cups in this set are made of stoneware. They have a different texure than the dishes and are a slightly different shade of white, as if they don't quite match.Besides, stoneware chips fairly easily and I prefer the durability of the traditional Corelle material. I have purchased many sets of Corelle dishes and all have included cups made of the same material as the dishes. This is the first set I have purchased in which the cups do not match the dishes.

A Beautiful, Understated Canvas for Food!

This simple, classic white dinnerware is a beautifully simple backdrop for our food! It makes such a neat, clean looking table setting! Now when I open my cabinets, I see this very sleek set of dishes. They are an absolute joy to use. I know Corelle is chip-proof, and safe for use in the dishwasher, oven, and microwave, but there is an added benefit that I wasn't aware of until I received the dishes. The Corelle dishes are so thin and low-profile that they saved valuable space in my cabinets. They stack very well. I greatly appreciated the extra space. The mugs with this set are a really exceptional design, very attractive.

Very pleased with whole order!

Since I'm elderly and have arthritis, I wanted dinnerware that was light and durable!! I found it and am happy that is just what I needed and wanted!!

This is really a great set. You have both the durability and the beauty of Corelle. Really a nice set for our busy home.

Great product.

I bought 3 sets. The dishes are perfect for daily use. Didn't care much about the mugs.

PRO: Well formed pieces. Exactly as described on cooking.com's pages.
It IS Correlle. Time will tell if it holds up to the standards of past years.

CON: Even though this set is solid white, wished I could find matching serving pieces as I have in the past (as in open stock).

Should have ordered more!

I bought 2 sets and went back to order 2 more! Love them. Could do without the mugs (not coffee drinkers in this house), but the dishes are perfect for my 3 little kids.

Winter Frost Dinnerware

Winter Frost is a very versatile pattern, which I have been collecting for several years. I like its light weight, ease of care, and versatility. It fits my dishwasher for ease of cleaning. I receive many compliments on my table settings. I would recommend this dinnerware to anyone who wants a versatile, beautiful set of dinnerware.

I love Corelle ware!

I received all pieces intact (2 sets), but was a little disappointed that the salad plates were so small.

This set is awesome. Very simple yet beautiful at the same time. The bowls are nice and deep, and the plates are very large. Great buy.

I was looking for plain white everyday dishes that would be light weight and resist breaking. This set fits the bill. I like the shape and size of the stoneware mugs, also.

Good everyday dishes

Very good for families with children. Mugs are stoneware which I don't like. I have a set of these from years ago and the mugs were made of the same material as the plates and bowls. Also the color of the mugs does not match the dishes as they are cream colored and the dishes are bright white. I really don't see the mugs lasting as long as the dishes.

So glad to have Corelle dishes again

Yes, the mugs are not the same color as everything else, but I personally don't think it's such a big difference that it ruins the set or anything. Besides, the dishes are so great (smooth and easy to clean, VERY sturdy, and even oven safe!!) that it makes up for the mugs being a little off-color. :)

This corelle is such a bargain for the price, and it;s just nice to eat on.

A negative is the mugs are stoneware

The dishes arrived in perfect condition, and take up so much less space then my 1980s stoneware set.

Simple Elegance

The simple Winter Frost White has the elegance that we were looking for along with the durabiltiy of CorelleWare. The Winter Frost White dinnerware sets a nice table and fits all ocassions.
