Works great. For years I had a pastry cloth and lo and behold the pie crust or cookies always stuck unless the cloth was coated with flour very generously. I used the Pastry Mat for the first time this Thanksgiving and it worked beautifully. I wasn't sure if I needed to use flour on it or not, so did put some on. I would definitely buy another one if I ever need too.

This pastry sheet replaces one I purchased over 20 years ago. It appears just as durable and I love the equivalencies not shown on the older version. It also comes in a great shipping tube which also doubles as a storage tube.

Opened the shiping box and took out the storing tube for the mat, it unrolled
unto the table. Yep, its a pastry mat I said, The wife jumped up and came running
She took one look and walked away mumbling OH WELL I thought, and she re-appeared with our 10 year old beat up mat and a handful of flour. She dusted it and sent it to recycle heaven.
We serched along time for a new mat and found (four )types . We are so happy we picked this one
It seemed a little thin, but I knew that when I bought it. The size and outlays are very nice and cleans up easy WOULD BUY AGAIN

This product is wonderful! One of my neighbors told me she purchased a small one years ago. Nothing sticks to it. I love it. The only thing that I found that I did not like was the oder from the backing. I read the reviews on this product, and there were lots of other people who said the same thing.

Good buy

This is just what I need. It is very helpful when I make my dough for bread.

Great mat. Had one for 30 years and it was getting pretty worn. Was very glad to find a newer version and one that worked wonderful.

Great for holiday baking

This mat is a perfect surface for Christmas cookies, which is why I ordered it! I will definitely be using it for any type of pastry or bread dough since it is a generous size, easy to clean up and store. The measurements and notations printed on it are a bonus!

I bought the Pastry Mat for my wife. I wasn't sure how she would feel about it; but trusted the reviews. When she saw it, neither was she. She used it several times and she loves it. She has already raved about it to her friends. She does wet the counter first to keep the mat from sliding.

A little disappointed

I have used this only once so far, and I was a little disappointed because my pie dough did stick to it. I didn't think it was supposed to. I do like the fact that it is non skid and stayed in place on my countertop as I rolled the dough. Hopefully I have better luck on my next try, maybe more flour on the mat will help.

The pastry mat arrived very shortly after I placed the order. I used it the next day and I am pleased that it did everything I thought it would. I just
wish it were a little heavier as I needed to put he pastry in the refrigerator to get cold and it is a
little filmsy for that . Otherwise I am pleased with the product.

Good product

I just used this mat for the first time... it is thinner than I thought it would be. Mat provides ample space to work with your dough. I like that it has the guides and conversion tables printed on it. The carrying case is pretty much a joke as it is just a plastic tube with an end cap on it. However, it is better than using a rubber band to keep the mat rolled up when not in use.
