Whether you're keeping track of how long your cookies have been in the oven or counting down the minutes until your pasta is done, this Polder 3-in-1 Timer, Clock and Stopwatch makes it simple to pay attention to the passage of time. The stopwatch function lets you track time up as well as down, so you can monitor how long you've spent completing a task or keep an eye on the minutes as they tick by, and the clock function comes in handy when you're on a schedule. You can set the countdown timer for up to 10 hours, which is useful when preparing overnight marinades, smoking ribs or brining a Thanksgiving turkey. The lightweight timer is simple and efficient to use because you can precisely punch in the specific time you need instead of pressing a button repeatedly to move the time setting up or down in one-second or one-minute intervals, and the large LCD screen displaying the time is clear and easy to read. This timer comes with a convenient neck cord that lets you carry it around hands free, so you don't have to worry about missing the sound of the beep if you wander into another room. A magnet on the back gives you the option of mounting the timer on the stove or fridge if you'd prefer. Once you've set the timer, a hold switch locks the keypad so that you don't accidentally change the settings, and you can pause the timer midway through if you need to add ingredients or take a well-deserved break.

  • This is my favorite product that I've bought recently. I'm very bad about putting something in the oven or on the stove and going to another part of the house. I can't hear the timer on the stove from other rooms and when I get involved doing something else I forget. This product is great because you just hang it around your neck and take it with you. No more forgetting.

    I recommend this product.

  • This is my absolute favorite timer, and I've tried a lot of them!! It's small, comfortable, easy to use, and loud enough to hear. I usually hang it around my neck on the cord; never have overcooked pasta or burned bread anymore, because I hear the beep! The narrow shape also fits well in pockets (especially in my vests & light jackets). I use it daily to time various things I'm not too thrilled about doing (like allowing 5 minutes to clean up the bathroom, 15 minutes in the kitchen, 15 minutes out in the yard...) or to allow myself 20 minutes to drink some tea and check my emails. The timer keeps me moving!

    I recommend this product.

  • The only recommendation I have is that the instructions for setting the clock are not clear that the time entered must be six digits, hh:mm:ss.

  • great timer for busy cooks

I bought this for my stepmother who would put things in the oven, then walk away to do laundry or clean up around their place. She wouldn't hear the timer on the stove or microwave and lost a couple of dishes to being overcooked.

It took her just a little bit of time to figure out how to use and she's been delighted with it ever since. Pop food in the oven, set the timer, hang it around her neck and off she goes! great tool for all those who multi-task.

    I recommend this product.

  • I was expecting a timer that had multiple settings, so am quite disappointed in this product. The description of the product upon first reviewing it, appeared to be just what I wanted. When I went back after the receiving the product, I realized that I had misunderstood the description. My fault, but also partially the way it was written.

  • Convenient Little Timer

I love this timer because I can wear it around my neck and not forget about what I have in the oven! It works wonderfully. The only caution I would have is that the buttons are very small so it may not work for someone with larger fingers or who has vision problems.

    I recommend this product.

  • Polder timer

I often try to multitask while cooking and now I no longer forget that something is on the stove. . No longer do I have ruined food and pans as I time everyting. I bought two for myself and another for my brother who complained that he could not leave the kitchen when he was cooking. Not only is it a timer that counts down but counts up and is a clock.

    I recommend this product.

  • Go anywhere timer and clock

I originally purchased one of these about 3 years ago and my puppy chewed it up, even so it worked, but he cracked the window where you view the time and I finally got around to replacing it because I could not find anything on the market that I liked as well. I can put something on the stove or in the oven, set the time and put it around my neck or in my pocket and go about my business till the alarm goes off. I use it for all sorts of things, really glad I replaced it, good bargain for the money.

    I recommend this product.

  • too small

I purchased this timer because Cook's recommended it. My complaint is that the number pad is quite small. I have to look closely to punch in the right numbers. If it was twice as big and I'd have no complaints and I'd purchase it again.

  • a must for the busy Senior and multitaskers

I have ruined several pots because I was on the computer or involved in painting . Or other times I turned on the watering system and totally forgot all about it. I bought two for myself and my brother told me he has to stay in the kitchen if he is cooking . I just ordered him one. Best timer for people who do more than stand over the stove.

    I recommend this product.

  • Good times, I mean timer

This is a good timer if you want something you can carry around with you while you're cooking. It's a little on the loud side and I seem to always hit the wrong number button (numbers are to the side of the button and I have to think about which side goes to which number), but those are minor complaints. Good basic timer.

  • Needs an off switch

This thing needs an off switch. Otherwise it is very nice. The alarm starts to sound with a few seconds remaining so if thing are really time critical and you are in another room, it gives you time to react.

  • Great Timer

This timer is just a great convenience. The directions were extremely easy to follow. It is nice to be able to be anywhere in the house or garden and be able to wear a light-weight timer around your neck to help you stay on top of what needs to come out of the oven or come off the stove. I no longer feel like I am going to miss hearing the conventional timer I used to use. It also has a magnet on the back so you can store it out in the open where it will show you the current time.

    I recommend this product.

Very handy product for race committee operations in sailing regattas, perfect for tracking the starting sequence, GPS tiime, or elapsed time between finishers in PHRF (handicap) fleets. The instrument also has a wide range of applications in other areas of everyday and hobby activities. I am very pleased with this product.

  • One big flaw

It is too easy to interrupt the timer function by hitting the yellow button inadvertently. There is a beep when you hit the button to alert you. But, if you are in a noisy situation, you can miss the beep. Then later you realize the timer is not counting down. Annoying.

  • Great timer with both a neck cord and a magnet, can be used anywhere. Buttons are a little small but I would want a 5 pound timer hanging around my neck, Easy portability makes it nice for outside chores, timing watering devices, etc. I already have one and bought this one as a gift.

  • A real bomb

This item is a big disappointment. I was so anxious to get it to use at night to wake me up at odd hours. We, nor anyone we've asked, has been able to set it correctly and the instructions were of no assistance. So, it's lying in the junk drawer in the kitchen.
