Whether you're keeping track of how long your cookies have been in the oven or counting down the minutes until your pasta is done, this Polder 3-in-1 Timer, Clock and Stopwatch makes it simple to pay attention to the passage of time. The stopwatch function lets you track time up as well as down, so you can monitor how long you've spent completing a task or keep an eye on the minutes as they tick by, and the clock function comes in handy when you're on a schedule. You can set the countdown timer for up to 10 hours, which is useful when preparing overnight marinades, smoking ribs or brining a Thanksgiving turkey. The lightweight timer is simple and efficient to use because you can precisely punch in the specific time you need instead of pressing a button repeatedly to move the time setting up or down in one-second or one-minute intervals, and the large LCD screen displaying the time is clear and easy to read. This timer comes with a convenient neck cord that lets you carry it around hands free, so you don't have to worry about missing the sound of the beep if you wander into another room. A magnet on the back gives you the option of mounting the timer on the stove or fridge if you'd prefer. Once you've set the timer, a hold switch locks the keypad so that you don't accidentally change the settings, and you can pause the timer midway through if you need to add ingredients or take a well-deserved break.

  • This is my favorite product that I've bought recently. I'm very bad about putting something in the oven or on the stove and going to another part of the house. I can't hear the timer on the stove from other rooms and when I get involved doing something else I forget. This product is great because you just hang it around your neck and take it with you. No more forgetting.

    I recommend this product.

  • This is my absolute favorite timer, and I've tried a lot of them!! It's small, comfortable, easy to use, and loud enough to hear. I usually hang it around my neck on the cord; never have overcooked pasta or burned bread anymore, because I hear the beep! The narrow shape also fits well in pockets (especially in my vests & light jackets). I use it daily to time various things I'm not too thrilled about doing (like allowing 5 minutes to clean up the bathroom, 15 minutes in the kitchen, 15 minutes out in the yard...) or to allow myself 20 minutes to drink some tea and check my emails. The timer keeps me moving!

    I recommend this product.

  • The only recommendation I have is that the instructions for setting the clock are not clear that the time entered must be six digits, hh:mm:ss.

  • A real bomb

This item is a big disappointment. I was so anxious to get it to use at night to wake me up at odd hours. We, nor anyone we've asked, has been able to set it correctly and the instructions were of no assistance. So, it's lying in the junk drawer in the kitchen.

  • The best little timer

This is my second purchase of this timer. I dropped the first one so many times that the timer works but the sound doesn't. It really takes a beating and is such a handy size. Not only does it count up and down, but one of its best features is that it tells you what amount of time you set it for when it is beeping; I find that really handy using it for baking and roasting, etc.

    I recommend this product.

  • Great timer

I love this timer. Count up, count down, and you can type numbers in quickly, rather than having to continuously press a button that increments by one. I not only use this for cooking but for exercise.

  • This is an easy to use, compact kitchen timer. The only problem is the magnet on the back too small to hold it in place on a fridge..

  • Nice Electronic Clock, Timer & Stopwatch

It works great! I had a little difficulty entering a new clock time. It seems that I entered for 8:40am (0840). I left out the seconds. I needed to enter (084000) instead. The last two digits are for the seconds. The alarm for the timer is clear and loud. Controls are very simple after I got the clock to work right. I like the sharp design of the timer. Buttons are easy to press.

  • Love this timer

I've never had a timer that was so easy to take with when you need to do other things in the house. I also love the count up feature after the alarm sounds. I'll never use a different timer!

  • Good design; execution is mixed.

The timer seems to work well. It is easy to use, and the beep was loud enough to be heard some feet away. It has a magnet on the back, which is very useful for placing the timer on one's refrigerator. Unfortunately, the glue holding the timer to the magnet is not strong enough, and the timer came off when I closed the refrigerator door. Fortunately, it still works, but now I have to put it in a less convenient place.

    I recommend this product.

  • price and ease of use

I received this timer as a gift and have given it to others as a gift. I like its portability and east of use, but couldn't figure out how to set the clock without the directions which were long gone. simple directions on the back would eliminate this issue. I do think it is rather pricey for what it is, but I would recommend it anyway.

  • This is my second Polder electronic timer, etc. They are so simple to operate, and I eventually destroyed the first one by wearing it around my neck and banging it on things as I worked. It has saved many an item on the stove or in the oven as I wandered out of the kitchen to do other things.

  • Design of the Clock, Timer, & Stopwatch

I like to be able to set a timer in minutes without going through all of the minutes of an hour. The simple, but efficient, design of this timer is nice. My husband uses it as an alarm clock because it is easy to use. I use it more for timing in exercising and cooking. You can set it down to the second if you need to do so. It is easy to read and set. With the attached string, you are not committed to carrying the timer by hand with you because you can wear it temporarily or all of the time. If you are called to a different part of the house to do something else, you know how much longer you have before you have to go back to whatever it is that you are timing. It is light weight. I like it.

    I recommend this product.

  • SUPER

This is by far the best clock/timer we have ever owned. I love that I can wear it around my neck. It is not because the alarm is not loud enough but I am a little hard of hearing.

It makes it so much easier when timing something whether it be cooking or to remind you to take your medicine.

  • My new favorite thing

I really like the excellent quality and the three-in-one function of this timer. However, the most important reasons why I bought this particular timer are the small size and the capability of hanging it around my neck. This eliminates the problem of having the timer go off while I am elsewhere, and miss the signal. I have bought over ten of these to give away as gifts - one of my new favorite things!

    I recommend this product.

  • Too loud

Alarm is loud, especially considering it's designed to fit around your neck. It also beeps loudly when you are entering numbers. Why?

I dropped the timer and the clear plastic cover popped off. I was able to put it back in place, but it doesn't seem to fit as snugly and I worry it will come off again.

    I recommend this product.

  • Electronic Timer

I love this timer! It works well, has a reasonable amount of functions, can hang around your neck and is LOUD! My only negative comment would be the cost. I don't think it should cost as much as it does. Afterall, it is just a timer...

  • Excellent to use and convenient

This handy little tool allows you to move about the kitchen with the timer hanging around your neck. When you have things cooking, you cannot always see a timer or when you have to leave the kitchen area. This handy little device does the job well. The only nitpicks are that the buttons are small and the glue that holds the magnetic bar is not very strong (it comes off too easily when you pull off the fridge). Other than that, worth getting.

    I recommend this product.

  • Having worked many years in a research lab, I'm used to carrying around an assortment of timers. That habit carried over to my kitchen, This style of timer is easy to manipulate and transport. My only problem was that when I leaned over the counter to reach other equipment or ingrediants I would accidentally turn off the timer. To solve this problem I put it on a longer lavilier or drop it in my shirt pocket while still attached to the lavilier.
