You don't have to be making Asian food to get the most out of this Dumpling Plus press. Made from sturdy plastics, it's designed for appetizers, hors d'ouevres and dumplings of many nationalities. Use it for potstickers, ravioli, empanadas, piroshki, kreplachs and pasties. Two handles are positioned on either side and the hinged center allows you to place dough or wrapper in middle, fill and then fold press in half. It securely seals your creation, leaving crimped edges. Package comes with Joyce Chen's recipe for Famous Peking Raviolis.

This is a great product. It's very easy to use -- my four-year-old loves to "crimp" the Chinese dumplings it makes -- and it produces a great product.
My only issue has to do with your VERY slow shipping. I order a ton of stuff over the internet. I've ordered from you three times and every time, it's been ungodly slow. I called your customer service this last time and got no help at all. I won't be ordering from you again.

Very easy to use. Makes the filling and pressing process much easier. Used this to make some hearty raviolis and they turned out perfectly!

I not only make dumplings with this press, I also use it to make little empadillas and tiny calzones. Love it!

Not nearly as versatile as using a lid of some sort. Dumplings look too industrial. Maybe helpful for people who haven't made dumplings before but after that, no.

This is a mini emanada maker. My sister has one that is a little bigger than this one and one side is the dough cutter and the other side is the crimper. This is nothing like I thought it was and a big disappointment.

Fantastic little gadget! Works like a charm! I was sceptical at first because it was made of plastic but that doesn't matter it works great. LOVE IT! Glad I bought it and would highly recommend it. Makes making pot stickers SOOOO much easier and each one is perfect. They don't break open.

This is the best invention ever. I have tried making dumplings before with out the press and they always fell apart but not this time!!! I used the press the night I got it and my dumplings stayed intact and delicious!!
