This toaster is worse than the one I replaced it with, it burns one side and barely browns the other, it had such great reviews and that is reason I purchsed it but I was terribly disappointed in the product. I think it is a a sad statement of our products when we can send a man to outer space but cannot make a decent toaster.

Very Good Toaster

I searched a good while to find "just the right toaster". I love this toaster. It's not big and bulky, looks nice on counter. You can toast/defrost a variety of breads. I like that you can toast one slice of bread - or two, three or four. Best of all, I like that the outside of toaster stays cool while in operation.

This is the PERFECT toaster. Perfect for bagels and english muffins!

A good toaster for the price!

i know, how exciting can a toaster be! but this one has a really small footprint for a 4-slice yet has all the nice little features. i LOVE the lift - eliminates the need for the pesky toast tongs! It also has a wide variety of settings - we replaced a very expensive toaster that, even at the highest setting, never seemed to toast an English muffin unless you put it down a second time. the only quirky thing about it is that the toast levels are LED so they remind you to unplug it when not in use to preserve them - but that is not a biggie. definitely a keeper!

Very Good Toaster

This toaster works very well. I like the option to warm foods without toasting.

Replacement Toaster

I was looking for an inline, more slender model but could not find one in my price range. This toaster, however, is a nice compact size and works very well. I would buy it again. It does what a toaster is supposed to do!

First Impressions

When I purchased the toaster I thought it was a bit pricey for a toaster, but after using it for a month now all I can say is wow. I know it's just a toaster but I now understand how some stores sell other toasters for less money

Family of 5 needed a bigger toaster

This toaster is great. I decided to redo my kitchen in purple and red (it is gorgeous) and I needed a wide 4-slot toaster (that 2 slot toaster did not hack it) and I am absolutely glad that I did. The price of this toaster was great and it was a reason I purchased it (plus I like the Cuisinart brand).

I would highly recommend this toaster to my friends and family.

Toast Settings

This is the absolute best toaster we have ever purchased; however, 7 is way too high ... as in, can you say 'blackened' toast?

I read the reviews online before I bought this toaster, and am glad I purchased it. The "footprint" is small, not much bigger than a 2 slice toaster. The adjustments are easy, although it takes some experience to match the type of bread to the level of toastedness. The audible signal that the toast popped up is very quiet, and if you have left the room to do something else while you are toasting your bread/bagel, you won't be reminded that your toast is done. Also, the level to which the toast rises is low if you are toasting home baked bread that isn't the usual size.

The toaster does have some nice features - the casing is sturdy and the color very nice. The problem is it only seems to toast on one side.

I rreally think this is the best toaster that we have had in the 32 years we have been married. It toasts on both sides. You can set it to toast just the way you like it and I really like the red and will continue to replace the rest of my appliances with red.

We love this toaster. It's beautiful and works great and, with four kids all wanting toast at the same time, it's a real timesaver. They were the first to use it, thrilled that we can finally toast our bagels. The separate darkness controls are very handy and I love the lift lever. This is a great addition to our kitchen.

Fantastic Toaster

I truly love my red toaster. The price was a bit high; but overall, the perfection in toasting any bread or pastry item in this toaster is fantastic! It's a amazing how you truly control the amount of 'toasting' you want in your bread or pastry item! I wish I could find the same quality and color in a blender!

The Mighty Mite!

This little compact toaster is SWEET! Very hard to find a toaster that doesn't take up all of your counter space. The slots are wide enough for bagels, and the smaller bread slices don't get lost and flop around. May not have all the bells and whistles of the fancy-smancy models but this little beauty makes perfect toast. Cuisinart quality for sure.

A Christmas Gift

I bought the toaster for my daughter for Christmas. She opened it, loved it and she used it right away, making toast to have with our Christmas breakfast. It worked perfectly and the color is perfect in her kitchen! Four slots makes it so much easier and faster for a larger family, I'm sure she will enjoy for a long time. We both love Cuisinart products.
