as an arthritis sufferer this pepper mill is great..so easy to operate and the cup is wonderful for grating a larger amount..you wont be disappointed.

White pepper mill

Love it!!!!! Works great. It dispenses just the right amount of pepper, and it doesn't get all over the counter.

This is my SECOND pepper mill by PepperMate. The first one lasted many, many years of daily use. I loved it and was distressed when it broke. I was very excited to find another on this website that was just like my first one. It is an advantage to be able to freshly grind pepper and then retrieve it from its catch container. 5 turns of the handle would yield 1/2 tsp of freshly ground pepper. I highly recommend this grinder to those who love to cook.

I have a peppermate and my daughter wanted one. It works as good as mine does. I would recommend it to anyone.

looked for this product in stores and was never able to find it. But I had seen it on the cooking network.

Great grinder

I bought this grinder on a recommendation from a friend. She is a great chef and told me she was so pleased with it after she used it for a while, she bought a second one to keep as a spare. I am also very pleased. The grinder is easy to turn and the coarseness of the grind adjusts easily. It is also easy to fill. The snap off bottom is great - it makes it easy to see how much you are grinding and to measure what you add to dishes in cooking. I'm thinking of buying a spare as well.

I like having the cover under the peppermill,it prevents the exces pepper getting all over your kithcen counter.

Grinding up a Storm!

My husband bought me this pepper mill for my birthday. I had been expounding on its virtues while watching Paula Deen use one just like it. My old pepper mill was down for the count and I really needed one by the stove. The pepper mill has been used every day since I received it. I love the way the dish at bottom holds ground pepper in one container, or I can remove it and add freshly ground pepper directly to the dish(es) I am preparing. This was an excellent gift.

The pepper mill was well constructed and performed the way it should. However, I will not purchase another nor recommend the pepper mill to others for being MUCH too pricey. Is not worth the price.

I have watched Paula and Ina use this pepper mill on the TV shows and always wanted on. Now I have and I'm loving it.

THE HANDLE

I BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE I CAN TURN THE HANDLE WITHOUT MY FINGERS CRAMPING UP. AS I NORMALLY COOK FOR MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF I DO HAVE OCCASIONS WHEN I COOK FOR 25 TO 150 PEOPLE. SO THIS REALLY WORKS GREAT AS I LOVE FRESH GROUND PEPPER.

elegant, functional

This mill has a strong grinder, producing sharp, fresh-tasting pepper. The wheel is easy to grip and turn and the product looks well made. The grinder comes down very slightly beyond the base so if you stand it up without the base, there is a wobble (barely perceptible but there). We have been grinding the pepper into the base and then tipping it over the food, which sounds fussy but isn't.

As expected, great product

We don't yet know the longevity of this product as it was purchased the beginning of December as a gift for my mother-in-law. She cannot say enough about the ability to adjust grind size and have the container that measures and catches the pepper or spices. It is also much better for her arthritis. As long as it holds up, then we'll have no issue with the price.

Best Pepper Mill Ever

I have owned several pepper mills over the years but never had one that I loved... That is until I purchased this pepper mill --- I first saw it in Ina's tv kitchen then in Paula's and what drew me to it was you could grind into the bottom and see how much you have ground. After using it, the side grinding handle won me over... I love it so much my daughters are getting them as Christmas gifts.

i appreciate this product because it is easier for arthuritis persons.reg pepper mill you have to twist your wrist alot to get the pepper out.

This is about the best mill I have purchased. It is a bit pricey but it does work. I especailly like the control you have of the grind.

Pepper Mill

This pepper mill does a very nice job and I love the fact that it captures the ground pepper in the plastic cup -- it makes it easier to measure pepper for a recipe. I was surprised to find that it was a manual operation, though. For some reason, I thought it was battery-operated . . . my mistake. I'm concerned that the knob will break because it's only plastic.

Pricey

The mill works great, but the cost seems a little high.
