After years of wanting a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer, but not feeling "justified" (I don't bake a lot), my husband and I took the plunge. Cooks.com offered excellent sale prices, free shipping on American-made items, and Kitchenaid was offering a free ice cream bowl attachment, all of which clinched the deal -- my husband loves ice cream and we both value American-made products. My mixer arrived faster than expected, in perfect condition. I am still getting used to it (things mix so fast!) but find it a joy to use. Looking forward to trying things like meat loaf or meat balls and my husband is looking forward to the ice cream!

I just wanted a bigger one. I am thrilled with this item. Love the dough hook. Whipped up my homemade pasta with ease!! I look forward to many more years of great recipes being made with this!!

The pasta attachment was sold out and I could not even back order this item.. Thats It!

The only things I don't like has to do with its heavy-duty nature. The bowl is a little heavy so your arms get tired after scraping it clean. And the mixer is so big it won't fit on my counter straight on; I have to keep it at an angle to keep the base on the counter. The mixer is also so heavy that I get my husband to take it out from the cupboard.
