I bought this one for my daughter! I had previously brought this item & really liked it! It practically shaves garlic gloves.

I thought this would work better than it did. The problem could have been that I used garlic that had been marinated in olive oil so it was softer than fresh cloves. I will try it again on fresh garlic and hopefully it will work better.

I'm sure Jacques Pepin and Julia Child used something fancier, but this little tool is great for the money. Easy to clean, simple to use, it produces quality results. I use this gadget to cut the thinnest possible slices of garlic. Liked it so much, bought some for my daughters. Quality stainless steel and plastic construction.

Great item that allows one to slice garlic paper-thin. Easy to clean, assemble and disassemble, and to store. Checked numerous upscale local sources, but only Cooking.com had this great utensil. Item was somewhat 'overpackaged' for shipment, though. Could've been shipped in a smaller box.
