This nifty little gadget provides for an easy and inexpensive way to make homemade organic yogurt. I made myself some honey yogurt because it's my favorite. It was quite good! I cannot wait to try some fresh fruit yogurts. I like that the appliance comes with little glass jars for individual servings. Euro-Cuisine also offers a three-year warranty on this product, which is a bonus. It seems to be a sturdy set up and I think it will get a lot of use out of it.

Yogurt maker

We spent a week at a B and B in Lucca, Italy where our hostess set out a wonderful breakfast each day. Included was homemade yogurt and homemade jam to mix in. I was amazed and told her so. She said. "All you do is fill the containers and the machine does the rest!" I bought this as soon as I came home. First try I made actual yogurt ti which we added honey. Wonderful!

Good and Bad

This product is made with #7 polycarbonate Bpa plastic jar lids as well as the lid for the entire device. On the box, it says Bpa free containers, and yet the rest of the materials are all Bpa plastic. This is ridiculous and was very disappointing for me. Condensation from the warm interior causes water to bead on the polycarbonate lid that covers all of the jars. This is probably the only way Bpa's would be able to enter the yogurt. However, the machine itself works great and makes good yogurt, but I don't feel comfortable feeding this yogurt to my kids. Please discontinue this product.

Good basic yogurt warmer!

I have made two batches of Fat Free yogurt so far with good results. Since the directions advise 10 hours for FF yogurt, I make it the night before and have finished yogurt the next day. I did purchase the dried starter which works well. For the second batch I did add 1/3 cup dried milk powder to add more body. Flavor is nice, clean and fresh! My only complaint is that the timer stays where you set it so you really don't know in the morning how much time is left. An improvement would be to add a countdown timer or digital timer. Lots of info on the internet available for recipes/suggestions. Will look forward to continued experimentation!

i love this yogurt maker, i made my husband chocolate yogurt first , he loved it. it saves alot of money and i know what is in it. i'm going to make frozen yogurt pops for my grand daughter this summer. it's so easy to make i'm going to have her help me and she's only four !
