I like the stool but had a bit of challenge to figure out the process of closing easily. Directions a bit vague. Good value and works well. Like that it folds up next to my fridge.

VERY STURDY AND SOLID PRODUCT. FOLDS TO ABOUT AN INCH THICK AND ABOUT 20 X 15 RECTANGLE. EASY TO STORE UNDER A SOFA OR LOVE SEAT. IT WILL GET YOU ABOUT 17 INCHES OR SO OFF THE GROUND. TALL PEOPLE CAN PAINT THE CEILING. SHORT PEOPLE CAN REACH THE TOP CUPBOARDS.
THE PHOTO SHOWS PRETTY CHROME AND BLACK. WHAT YOU GET IS WHITE PAINTED LEGS AND BLACK STEPS AND FEET. IT IS MUCH STURDIER THAN THE PHOTO WOULD SUGGEST.
HIGHLY RECOMENDED FOR OCCASIONAL USE. FOR CONSTANT USE IT WOULD BE BETTER TO GET A KICK STEP.

This stool works great in the kitchen for those items that are just out of reach. The best part is that I can store it in a compact space.

This is the best compact step stool I have found out there. In fact, just replaced my older ones that were white to chrome only because of the finish. Would recommend this item to anyone who wants the convenience but needs to keep it unobtrusive.
