Best Bread Machine

by Betty, IL
January 17, 2010

I had heard about bread machines from all my friends for a long time. I received The Emerilware from T-Fal Bread Machine for Christmas. I have only made 3 loaves of bread and my husband and I love it. It has all kinds of options. It is very easy to use. Put all your ingredient in and walk away until the Beep. You can make cakes, jam, jelly , and almost any kind of bread. You will love it to!

I have never owned a bread maker. When making this purchase I read reviews and this product had great reviews. I agree with the reviews. It is VERY easy to use, is quiet, and the resulting bread is excellent. The recipes that we have tried, recipes included with the machine, were very delicious.

I love my Bread Maker!

by Angela, WA
November 15, 2010

I love the bread maker! I have made countless loaves of bread and homemade english muffins and pizza dough and they all come out perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase. I have not used any of the recipes that came with the bread maker I found other ones on line and they work beautifully. I do have one complaint, it states that you can make jams but it only gives recipes for compote but no recipes for jam. Otherwise its a wonderful machine and I have had a lot of fun learning new recipes and my family loves the flavor of the breads, I love all the options I get, especially the option for the crust. I haven't made baguettes yet but plan on doing that soon and I am excited about it. And the best part is it is so very easy to clean!! Thank you Angie

I love my 3lb. breadmaker by Emerilware from T-Fal. So far it has worked fantastic and the smell of baking bread is heavenly. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants to buy a breadmaker.

Love the two paddles ... but

by Jean, AZ
January 18, 2011

I love the two paddles, ease of operation and length of loaf. But, there is only a dough setting and not a pizza dough setting. My previous bread machine had a pizza dough cycle which lasted 55 minutes. This one's dough cycle is 1 hr. and 25 minutes, which dries the dough too much. Now I set my timer so the cycle lasts 55 minutes and the dough comes out great. The other thing that I liked about my old machine was that the operating manual showed how much time each setting lasted (i.e. 15 minutes for mixing, first rise 30 minutes, etc.) I liked that because I could set my timer to let me know when to remove the paddles so I won't have huge holes in the bread. Also, my old machine showed in the window what cycle it was in. This machine does not. I know it's minor things, but I use the machine 2-3 times per week and those things would make my life easier.

Very happy with this bread maker

by Lois, NY
December 27, 2010

I like the many options this bread maker provides, and that the loaves are horizontal. I bought this to replace an old machine that put in many good years and got it just in time to make many pannetone for the holidays as well as excellent breads and pizza dough, The 2 mixing paddles do an excellent job, especially when incorporating nuts and fruit. But it's still important to check the consistency of the dough during the first mixing cycle since many factors can cause a need to add more flour or liquid. I ended up buying several for Christmas gifts and await the reviews.

I bought two bread machines. One for myself and one for my daughter who loves home made bread. We are both very pleased with the results of the products produced. Our only concern is not enough recipes available for the larger loaves. If you know of a bread book with these recipes in it please let me know.

Emeril Breadmaker

by Wilma, TX
January 10, 2011

I bought 2 of these after reading the reviews and doing some research. I gave one as a gift to my son. I am still in the process of learning to use it and trying recipes. My first recipe was the basic bread and it sunk on the top for some reason but was for the most part very good -- trouble shooting said not enough flour. The second was a brioche and it rose to the top too much, but again was edible. I am happy with the breadmaker and am sure I will fall into the adjustments after more tries. I would have liked a few more recipes, and I have noticed there wasn't a cheese bread recipe I would have liked to get.

Solidly built

I have only used this breadmaker a couple of times, but am impressed so far. The baguettes are so cute and so simple to make. The paddles knead the bread well and firmly. Seems well built. A little bit noisier compared to other breadmakers I have owned (Breadman and Zojurishi), but not that big of deal. Very pleased with the appearance of the machine too. The recipes look really yummy. I can hardly wait to try them all!

Happy with the product, have used it 3 or 4 times so far. Makes a nice, large loaf of bread. It is easy to use and clean. I do recommend it . Would find it helpful if the time chart in the booklet included time to remove the paddles at the begining of the last rise as my previous one did.

White Bread Maker for home makers

by JOAN, AL
December 9, 2010

I chose this bread machine due to the positive product reviews over another brand I had in mind. Have made several loaves and all came out perfect. I have made the 3 lb. loaf using the "dough" cycle, cut the dough in either two or three sections, put in loaf pans for second rising and baked at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Have yet to have a bad experience. Just have fun with your different ideas.

Not Quite Up To Expectations

by Richard, IL
January 10, 2011

I ordered this because of the baggette feature and the positive reviews. My previous bread machine was a Hitachi that we used almost weekly for about 20 years. Since we got the Emeril breadmaker we've made baggettes, French, pullman and pepper pullman loaves. Also, pizza dough. We've had poor results with the receipes from the book that are only flour, water and yeast. (Like the baggette & French loaves.) The ones that include powdered milk, butter and sugar (pullman) have turned out better. The pizza dough is very dense and tough to roll out compared to what we made in our old machine. The baggettes didn't rise much and were hard. The French loaves have not risen properly and totally failed. The pullman loaves have done fine. All of the receipes for this machine require more flour and make larger loaves that our previous breadmaker. Since there are only 2 of us, that's more than we need. If you have more people, then it's better.

I have never made bread before except for banana nut bread, nothing using yeast. This bread machine was so easy to use and everything I have made has come out great! My family loves it! I was told not to give up if my bread didn't turn out the first few times, that I would just have to work at it. But there was nothing to work at, just follow the recipe, turn the bread machine on and it does the rest, it's GREAT!! I only wish I had bought sooner. My family will never eat store bought bread again. Thank you!
