It does not sharpen as sales demonstrators lead you to believe. I have tried several knives, and do not find them to be any sharper than when I started.
I keep reviewing all the instructions, but they are not any help.
No, I would not recommend this product.

Work great on my knives. I'm a collector, I have over 400 collectore knives. Most of them have never been used or sharpened. I do have a few that did neede sharpening and my pocket knife I carry everyday is as sharp as when I boughtit

We gave this knife sharpener as a gift. We have used ours for many, many years and it always makes dull knives so sharp they can be dangerous.
