I just got the machine and just used it once, in my observation it will do the job but my Cutco knives won't be in their original sharpness. I'd rather use the machine instead of a honing stone.

It does not sharpen as sales demonstrators lead you to believe. I have tried several knives, and do not find them to be any sharper than when I started.
I keep reviewing all the instructions, but they are not any help.
No, I would not recommend this product.

Work great on my knives. I'm a collector, I have over 400 collectore knives. Most of them have never been used or sharpened. I do have a few that did neede sharpening and my pocket knife I carry everyday is as sharp as when I boughtit
