Cuisinart 5 speed hand mixer

It's sturdy, although a bit heavy. The beaters are nice, sort of combination old style and whisk. Wish it came with more than one type, but the sale was half price, so no complaints. Seems to work well, but a little awkward...beater release is just below the handle and a bit too easy to release while grabbing the handle. The release button is a little flimsy as well. Maybe they made it flexible so it wouldn't irritate while holding the mixer, but I find it distracting. It would have been better to position it at the top near the settings as most other beaters are designed. Definite design flaws, but OK for the discounted price.

Just what I wanted

I have been wanting a new hand mixer for some time. I have a large stand mixer. Due to a temporary disability I was not able to go shopping. Being able to find exactly what I wanted on line was a real help.

I was really happy with the quality and durability of the product. I was a little apprehensive at first, but I know the brand name usually means solid quality in my mind. It was at a great sale price, so definately worth buying.

I absolutely love this mixer. Powerful and not heavy to hold.

Hand Mixer

I love the mixer, but noticed that speed 1 was too fast and about the same speed as 2. It would have been nicer if speed 1 was slow enough to just get the mix moving instead of splattering it all over my kitchen counter! I will have to stir by hand at first before using the mixer. Other than that it was nice to handle and did the job.

This is the BEST mixer I have ever owned. I HIGHLY recommend. Very convenient and easy mixer discharge. I found this to be the highest rated, so went for it. SOOOO glad I did.

Functional, takes less space

Good, solid hand mixer. The swivel cord is a nice feature to keep the cord out of the way. Lack of a central post on the beaters makes them easier to clean. Would have liked it a little lighter.

well i will say this , anything that i have purchased from cooking .com i loved it , never had any complaints at all , i love the products from cooking .com and i have purchased several things , a crock pot , pot & pan set , and the hand mixer and i love every single one of these items , i do not purchase things in the store anymore i purchase anything and everything from cooking.com , i absolutly love this hand mixer i just love it . and i would recomend this hand mixer to anyone . i truly truly from the bottom of my heart love products from cooking.com
