You schedule the frequency you wish to recieve orders in one-month, two-month, three-month,
and six-month intervals. Choose your preference and we'll send out the shipments
on that schedule automatically. You can return and modify your subscription schedule
online at any time. You'll only be charged for each order when the item is shipped.
The amount charged each time will reflect the price of the item on the day the order
is placed, plus any applicable sales tax.
Update or Cancel at Any Time
Simply login to your "Manage Recurring Orders" page in Your Account at any time
to modify the frequency of your shipments, the quantity of your subscription, and
billing or shipping address and payment methods. Changes will take place immediately
and will be applied to all unshipped orders associated with your subscription.
You read it right: If you find an item you bought with us sold for less somewhere else, we'll match the item price!
How It Works
If you should find a lower advertised price on an in-stock, identical item from one you purchased from us, you can submit a Price Match request up to 14 days after your purchase.
Forward your order confirmation email or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and include a link to the retailer's website promotion with the lower price. Please include "Price Match" in the subject line of the email.
Once approved, the price match will be calculated and refunded based on the item price. (Note that some exclusions may apply to keep things on the up and up.)

I got it because it was recommended by Cooks Illustrated/America's Test Kitchen and they did not steer me wrong. I have kitchen knives that I have had for over 30 years. This sharpener is easy to use and has made the edges like new. It is expensive; no doubt about it, but it is worth it.
The instructions for this knife sharpener are complicated, obtuse & difficult to understand. They are written as if the only people using the machine are professional knife sharpeners who have sharpened thousands of knives. The instruction manual could be significantly improved by putting in some pictures of knives & the machine in action.
The performance of the machine is excellent. My solid edge knives couldn't be sharper -- and perhaps even sharper than when purchased. I'm not so sure it does much good for the serated knives -- I don't see much difference. But then, perhaps, I don't understand the directions for serated knives (other than it says that it supposedly works on them).
As a former executive chef, I've used a variety of knife sharpeners in my years in the kitchen. Some of these cost over $500 and did a fantastic job keeping my knives sharp. I'm now retired but still cook every day and use my knives that are over 20 years old. I can't afford an expensive sharpener, but have found that the Chef's Choice 130 does a comparable job of keeping a good edge on my old knives at a fraction of the cost of the real professional model. It's the best home model I have used so far.
Compared to taking in knives for sharpening, this is a super option. It does the job and is so convenient! Compared to the cost of taking in knives for sharpening, this little device pays for itself in no time.
I purchased this product on the recommendation of Cooks Illustrated. I have 7 or 8 knives that I use regularly and sharpen them occasionally on the devices that came with the knives. After using the ChefsChoice only once, I threw away all the handheld sharpeners in the drawer. I had to read the directions a few times to understand the different use cases, but once I got the confidence to actually put the metal to the slots, I was sold. My knives have never been so sharp and there is no doubt that a sharp knife is a safer knife. I highly recommend the product and with a little bit of patience, time with the videos on their website, and confidence (let's face it, it is scary to grind the metal off a $200 knife) you will never want to use an unsharpened knife again. When I help friends and family in their kitchens, I can't believe they actually cook with such dull knives. Next time I am bringing my ChefsChoice with me!
