Great Hand Blender!

The blenders I've used in the past leave clumps or entrain air.

This blender works fantastic - it blends smooth, chops up ice cubes with no problem & my shakes never end up with a head of foam on them. The stainless steel shaft & blade is what makes the difference.

I like the way the shaft snaps in place, without having to twist it on like other models I've used, and it releases easily for quick clean up too.

Downsides are it's only one speed (not a problem for me), and it doesn't come with a wall-mounted bracket - but I have one left over frrom one of my old broken blenders!

its lightweight. i wanted to use this blender for hot foods, not all hand blenders allow this. love it

I just received this, so I have only had a chance to use it once. I love homemade apple sauce and use a variety of apples to make it. I always peel the apples first. This time, I did not. I just cut them and cooked them. When they were finished, I used the hand blender and you would never know there were peels there. This way, I get all the flavor, all the taste and none of the work. I am sure I will use this often.

I love the ease of use, clean up and the quality of the job I want it to do. I would recommend it for anyone.

Handy item

This is a replacement hand held blender for me. I use it to blend soups, sauces, etc. I love the fact the blade part is detachable and therefore much easier to wash.

The best purchase I've made in a long time. The versatility of this product is wonderful, especially in making soups.

broken

When we first got the blender we loved it, but after using it only four or five times it stopped working properly. As a matter of fact, it's unusable at the moment. We used it according to directions and didn't use it on anything too heavy. I will try to get the situation rectified with the manufacturer, but I would NOT buy this again!

Worked like a dream creaming soups, sauces right in the pot. Easy to use and clean. Very good value for the price. Can't wait to make some smoothies with it! Recommended it to friends and family, several ordered it from your store....

Easy clean up!

Great product - was worried it couldn't hold up to tough jobs due to low price - I was wrong! Easily blends soups without a second thought!

Wish it weren't true but the cordless model is head and shoulders above the battery one. Was looking to reduce cords but not this time. Overall, it's great for sauce making and puree's.

Used to use my blender (messy) and food processor (messy); this does it all without mess or inconvenience.

Very pleased, able to puree soups in a jiff without transferring them to another container. Whip up salad dressings in nothing flat, my morning chocolate breakfast drink is now without granules.

The Cuisinart Smart Stick is a dream come true. Who likes placing several small batches of hot soup in the blender, then into a second pot, until all the soup has been creamed? This OLD method requires dirtying the blender and a second stockpot, plus dribbling on the counter and stove as you move the soup around. With the smart stick, you do it all in one pot with no mess and no fuss. i am thrilled with this ingenious boon in the kitchen!

Good quality, good price

We wore out our last hand blender in short order. After looking at over 2 dozen we decided on this unit. It is handsomely designed, relatively lightweight, quiet in operation and powerful enough for most uses. We've only had the unit a short time but it seems a very solid unit.

Wonderful Tool

I purchased the product to make the Roasted Garlic Tomatoe Soup (Tyler Florence)...It worked great and I have used it on serveral other soups I have made as well.

Great Hand Blender

I use hand blenders quite often--especially in the summer while making jellies and jams. This blender by Cuisinart works very well. I think it is not quite as fast as a previous one I had, but works fine. Also looks very clean and goes well with todays stainless/black kitchens. God Bless!
