Good practical unit

This peeler is pretty simple, yet it does the job very nicely. It's built quite lightly but a larger, heavier-duty unit would cost more. It peels as fast as you can turn the handle. It only leaves a small patch of skin at the top and bottom of the apple.

This is an excellent product in every way. It is inexpensive, small, easy to use, washes easily and does the job. I bought one for my father-in-law for Christmas and he loved it! Since then I have purchased 3 more. It also peels potatoes!

I bought these for a school project. it enabled the children to quickly and easily peel apples. it was fun for all K-6th grade students. it is safe and easy to use. a small amount of adult supervision needed for the little kids.

I am a male apple grower and do very little cooking. I make and eat a lot of apple sauce and the apple parer is a great help.
