Because of the large opening, I use these for saving leftovers or liquids. They fit nicely on the refrigerator shelves or in the doorway. I place the dissolvable labels on them indicating date/time and when needed it is readily available. Great jar.

I prefer glass containers over plastic for freezing but freezing soups was always a challenge. These jars work very well.
