slower first speed

While this mixer is great for mixing small items, I would have liked a slower first speed.

One handy dandy hand mixer when hauling out the big mixer is not necessary. One of the problems with the hand mixer is the inconsistence in beater speed. You may start out slowly, but with no encouragement, the beater speed mysteriously increases until splatters are going everywhere. This hand mixer has true speeds that are consistent.

Purple Mixer

I love this mixer, the color was exactly as pictured and it fits with all the other purple in my kitchen. It was well packaged and arrived in a timely manner.

WOW blenders have come a long way!

My first new blender in over a decade and it is fantastic. Very powerful yet easy to handle. Used to take me 5 minutes at high speed to get sugar and butter to that fluffy consistency, With this blender it was done at less than medium speed. Easy cleanup and gorgeous color

returned the item

I purchaced the mixer for my daughter. I have a 7 speed cusienart miixer myself and love it. She has been looking for a good mixer at a good price. when I saw this one I thought it would be the same as mine only a 5 speed. However the speeds are insane. The low speed is crazy fast and the highest speed is out of controll. This is my daughters complante of most mixers. The first speed is way to fast. I will continue to look at Paula's store in hopes to find the mixer I have.

Fantastic Hand Mixer

GReat mixer , at first I was unsure of the thin blades , but I have found they work much better than wider ones. This is a very strong mixer, don't let the size or cute colors fool you .

Splashing

When I used it on instant pudding mix it splashed stuff all over the counter and myself

the purchase was a gift. but think my grand-daughter will enjoy using it. thank you! Mary Rios

Quality

This mixer is plastic and cheap. It is the noisiest mixer we have ever had. Very disappointed in the quality and the looks of the mixer. if all of your products are like this, we will probably never buy anything from the Paula Deen store again. Sorry but I was expecting good quality and didn't get it.

too costly for what you get

it is a pretty color but too costly for a hand held mixer and shipping costs were outrageous.

This mixer would be wonderful if it had a much lower low speed.

Color

Great mixer, just didn't like the color & exchanged it for a lavender mixer & totally pleased with color & performance of it !

love it,being Disabled it is great

being disabled don't have a lot of strenght to pick up and place on the counter a big mixer,it work just as well

New mixer

Has more power than expected. Fit and finish very good.

Thought the sale price on this was a bargain until I received the mixer and discovered it was made of cheap plastic and the variable speeds do not work very well. Very disappointed in the quality.
