A fantastic gift to myself!

I have been wanting one of these Smartstick Hand Blenders for a long time so I bought one for myself. I love it! How on earth did I make cream soups without this handy gadget? No longer a need for my old fashioned blender when I can use this quick and easy hand blender. Easy to clean, too. Every kitchen needs one of these handy devices.

very powerful

This immersion blender is a little larger than I had expected, but I like it. The motor is very powerful (but quiet), and the blade works very quickly. When I made potato soup, it blended a gallon of cooked potatoes in about 15 seconds. Using it was easy and fun. I think that making pimiento cheese will be a lot easier with this tool than with a hand mixer. Another good feature is a rather long cord.

I love, love, love this new hand blender... Saves me so much time by not having to "drag" out the big blender for a smoothie, etc.

Hand Blender

I have been wanting this item for a couple of years but felt it was too expensive for me. I checked my emails on my phone when I woke up one morning. There was an email from Paula Deen with a sale on Cuisinart products, the hand blender being one of them at a price I could afford Right there as I laid in my bed I ordered my new hand blender. It arrived a few days later and I couldn't be happier. I've been taking cooking classes for the past 2 years, I really enjoyed using the hand blender in my class for sauces and soups...now my bechamel will be nice & creamy.

great item & fun color

I had an old hand held blender but this one goes leaps & bounds over my one of maybe 15 yr ago. The ability to detach for cleaning purposes makes this one by far the best I have used. It adds s sash of color to my kitchen. I make a lot of protein shakes and we all know how gritty those can be if not mixed enough. The fact that I DO NOT HAVE TO GET OUT MY BLENDER every morning is exciting on & of itself. The measuring cup for mixing was an added bonus I did not realize that I would be getting. And did I mention THAT SPLASH OF COLOR. My only regret is that I did not order a few extras for presents! The name sells itself & I am one proud owner!

Why didn't I get one of these sooner??? I love it! After all, it IS a Cuisinart (and my kitchen is filled with their products).

This appliance is more powerful than my previous model. A bonus is that the new smart stick still drives the attachments from my previous smart stick.

Quick & easy for teens to use.

Our granddaughter (14) had to bake cookies for a school function. She mixed the softened butter & sugar with the SmartStick. It worked perfectly for her. Her cookies made $15 for the fund to help another student who needs a kidney transplant.
